Will full color damage my hair?
Quality color applied correctly should not damage healthy hair. We use professional-grade formulas and match the processing time to your hair. If it is already compromised, we plan around that first. A conditioning treatment is added when needed, and we recommend at-home care between visits.
Will my color look flat or one-dimensional?
That is the risk we design against. Single-process color can look flat if it is rushed, so we build in depth using glossing, subtle tone shifts, and careful timing. We can also add partial highlights or a gloss treatment for extra dimension if that fits your goal.
How much does full color cost at Boncomb?
It is a flat $395. That covers the consultation, custom formulation, full root-to-ends application, processing and monitoring, the color-sealing treatment, and a blowout and style. One price, everything included – you leave looking polished and confident, with no surprises at checkout.
Can I go significantly lighter with full color?
Single-process color lights your hair 1-2 levels. Going much lighter needs a different path – balayage, highlights, or a multi-step process. At the consultation we tell you what is achievable without harming your hair, and we do not promise what would not hold up.
What’s the difference between full color and root color?
Root color handles only your new growth – about the first inch or two. Full color covers everything from roots to ends. If your ends have faded, you are changing shades, or you need full gray coverage, choose full color. If you are happy with the length and just need regrowth, root color is more efficient.
How long will my full color last?
Most clients book every 6-8 weeks, though it depends on your growth, your natural contrast, and how much root you can tolerate. At the consultation we set a real schedule for you, and standing appointments make the refresh automatic – one less thing to think about.
How do I keep my color fresh between visits?
Use the color-safe shampoo and conditioner we recommend, wash with lukewarm water, cut back on heat styling, and protect your hair from Texas sun. A gloss treatment between full color visits boosts shine and vibrancy without a full commitment.
